“The problem is NOT me”: Ingrid Coronado recounts the hard and costly process after the death of Fernando del Solar

ingrid coronado is synonymous with success and is known to her audience for carrying the weight of entire shows on her shoulders; However, she has faced episodes that are not easy, both in her professional life, as well as in her love and image. Coronado has taken refuge in silence more than once, but her decisions have echoed in the media for being a public figure; Even so, she remains active on the radio and has written her second book, Mujerón, which guides women in a sometimes complex world full of inequalities and lack of self-esteem, events that she gradually had to overcome. staff.

TVyNovelas was able to talk with the also singer at one of her book signings, and opened her heart to the storm of the scandal, something that unfortunately she has already had to get used to.

It’s your second book, did you get naked in it? Without a doubt; I think this book is the bravest thing I’ve done in my life, because I share there the stories that have hurt me the most and that have been much more difficult to overcome. I feel that I have a commitment to the people who have followed me throughout my career. Here I talk about my vulnerability, and you know me, I have always been a woman who is smiling on camera, but I have also had a hard time, like most human beings.

We’re all going to get to know you better… Yes, but it was also getting to know me when writing it, and I am sure that my path of transformation can be of use to many women and men. Throughout my life I have been discovering that if a person treats you badly, it has nothing to do with you, but with the other, but to get there I had to go through many frying pans in the face, to finally be able to say that the problem is not it’s me and thinking: “Why am I allowing this in my life?”. The most important thing is that I don’t just want to tell my drama, but genuinely seek to help more people.

How did you help yourself? I have taken courses, workshops, therapies; I have read self-help books, spirituality books; I was in India, in the Amazon; I’ve been looking for how to feel good, and when I found it, I consider it my responsibility to share it.

How did you get through this trance of Fernando del Solar’s departure? It has been a process like the one that all people go through when they have a loss, and honestly I tell you, I am here; I also do my radio show because I am a professional person who likes to take care of her work today more than ever, and it is very important that I am well and that I have things to offer the public, because at home there are three responsibilities (her children). I understand that there must be a lot of people who are going through difficult times, I want to say to her that it is possible to get ahead, and what it is about is that we give ourselves spaces to be able to express our emotions.

Did you somehow prepare your children for the loss of their dad? Life is wise, and in some way it is always shaping you so that you can face any situation in your life, and I am convinced that life has not been wrong with me. I have gone through moments that have been strong and difficult, but that have also strengthened me enormously to accompany my children in any situation that life throws at us. Unfortunately, sometimes the only way to recognize ourselves is to have ups and downs.

You said that you feel very proud of your children… Yes! I am very proud of them and also of everything that has happened with me; obviously you can’t accompany anyone in difficult times if you haven’t been through them too. I receive many messages on social networks that are really beautiful, that really make me cry, from women, from men, from kids and older people, and that is my driving force.

How are your children living this duel? My children are beautiful beings, with enormous inner strength; they have already had to go through difficult times at their young age, and finally life is not wrong, it has been forming them in such a way that they are resilient, have the best of attitudes, and they teach me every day to be a good human being with emotional pillars; They have every chance to get ahead. It is not about telling children what to do, on the contrary, they see things, it is about your actions, about acting in a certain way, and if you act with good will and from the heart, that is what your children will learn.

Do you get along with Anna Ferro, Fernando’s widow? I would not like to talk about that subject.

Are you still in legal process? Well yes, as I say, I bet on the legal, and so it has been in all situations of my life; I would love not to be in these situations because it costs me a fortune, but finally I have to bet on what is fair for me, it is what I have done and it is what I will continue to do. For me litigation in the media is not the way to fix things, for me it is important to show my children and my family who I am through my actions. I always try to do the right thing, and that is what I embrace and what helps me get ahead in every step of my life.

Did you sue Fernando? I have sued whom I have needed to put a limit on; my lawyer mentioned that I have never sued the father of my children, may he rest in peace.

What do you think about what people say? I know who I am and I’m not trying to pretend anything.

The demand that is spoken of then, what is it? It’s from six years ago. They sued me.

Do your children deal with Anna Ferro? At the moment, no.
