The organizer of Arfecine, the film critic Pablo de Vita, who works for the newspaper La Nación and the magazine Criterio, led the act in which the return of this festival was announced in person, after the parenthesis of the corona virus, since the same time with virtual transmission.

It was announced at the event who will be the jurors of the short film competition: the director of the unusual film festival Fabián Sancho (Argentina); the writer and short filmmaker Lorena Cancela (Argentina) and the director of the Punta del Este Jewish Film Festival, Fernando Goldsman (Uruguay).
The jury for the official feature film competition will be chaired by the writer and president of the Jorge Luis Borges International Foundation, María Kodama (Argentina), and made up of the director of the magazine Criterio, José María Poirier (Argentina), and the director of the Center for Latin American Studies of the Palacký University of Olomouc, Daniel Nemrava (Czech Republic).
