The new means of communication of the Brotherhood of the Macarena begins its broadcasts on the night of this Thursday, October 20 with the first monthly program, a 90-minute space dedicated to reviewing the latest news from the corporation and which will begin after the broadcast on streaming of the last day of the Triduum of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary.
Macarena Television It will be broadcast through the profiles of the Brotherhood on the YouTube, Twitch and Facebook Live video platforms. The future of Macarena Televisión is to create a digital television application to be installed on any mobile device, screen or smart tv.
The new medium will start with a basic programming schedule, which will combine live broadcasts with other content already edited, culminating in a 90-minute live monthly show. From here, it will gradually increase its audiovisual offer until it has a daily grill.
To develop this new channel, the Brotherhood has been accompanied by Grupo Blogosur Comunicación as a technological partner, an audiovisual company from Seville with proven experience in communication and content generation. “They share with our Brotherhood a bold vision and the conviction that it is possible to make a modern, agile, fun Television Macarena and that helps the Brotherhood to develop its essential purposes”, highlights the Big Brother.
In the presentation of Macarena Television, the Big Brother of the corporation, José Antonio Fernández Cabrero, has indicated that this new communication medium “was born with willingness to serve the brothers, desire for universality and evangelizing mission. It is a new voice that our Brotherhood adds to those it already has to count, inform, train, entertain, disseminate, fraternize, evangelize and project hope to all corners of the planet.
In this sense, the scope of the new medium is important, which “not only will our brothers arrive, but it will make known to people far from our Brotherhood what our activity, our culture and our usefulness in 21st century society are.” Macarena Televisión supposes “a fidelity to our ancestors from Macarena, who were always bold and pioneers, using the means at their disposal in each era to magnify the Brotherhood; and one response to the evangelical mandate –Go and announce the Gospel-, to the call of the Holy Father and the Church to a new evangelization going out to the peripheries and looking for the most distant and displaced”, said Fernández Cabrero, who has elaborated that “it will also be a tool at the service of the goals essentials of our Brotherhood -worship, training and charity- as well as a vindication of our culture and idiosyncrasy through its dissemination and enhancement in audiovisual formats; in short, a universal window to Hope, which will be present in those places where it is sorely lacking”.
The objective of Macarena Televisión is to be a half self-sufficient, financed through sponsorships and collaborating brands with the Brotherhood. Finally, Fernández Cabrero has encouraged the brothers “to make this television their own and to consider it, in addition to a service and a communication tool, a platform to make known to society the best of our history, our culture, our spirituality and our daily activity. “It is a wonderful way of telling society, with current codes and new technologies, what the Brotherhood of the Macarena is and how proud we are to feel Macarena. It is an instrument to get out of the atrium and that people distant from the Brotherhood, both geographically and vitally, know it and are interested in it”, he has affirmed. “We long for Macarena Televisión to be the television for all Macarenos and for anyone who wants to get to know us better,” he concluded.
The Brotherhood of the Macarena premieres its own television
