The more we strive to do good, the faster we will move away from evil. Sustaining spiritual fellowship with the “saints” will detach us from association with the fruitless works of darkness.
Notice how many times the apostle Paul warns us to watch out for all disputes that may arise in the exercise of godliness! This demonstrates in a certain way, that the latter consists in believing and practicing what God asks, rather than going about in pursuit of vain debates.
