News: MUBI releases films by Noé, Assayas, Audiard, Agresti, Loza and the Dardennes in September

Within the outstanding programming, cycles by Arturo Ripstein, Rainer Werner Fassbinder and João Pedro Rodrigues will be presented. The first will include THE PLACE WITHOUT LIMITS, PERPETUAL CHAIN, THE EMPIRE OF FORTUNE and THE BLACK WIDOW, while the second presents IN A YEAR WITH 13 MOONS, THE THIRD GENERATION and LOLA; Finally, the third cycle mentioned brings THE ORNITHOLOGIST, TO DIE LIKE A MAN and THE LAST TIME I SAW MACAO.

Also available will be the feature debuts DESTELLO BRAVÍO, by Ainhoa ​​Rodriguez and WOOD & WATER, by Jonas Bak. The first is a drama and homage to the repressed desires and dreams of women in rural Spain, while the second contrasts the tranquility of the forests and the overwhelming hyperactivity of a city, and evidences it through the feelings of the protagonist throughout your journey.

In September, the platform presents the long-awaited title VORTEX, by Gaspar Noé, a love story between an older couple, starring Dario Argento and Françoise Lebrun, who is facing problems of senile dementia.

Like every month, MUBI presents some titles only available to its subscribers. This month brings PARIS, 13TH DISTRICT by Jacques Audiard, a dramatic comedy that explores the sexual and social mores of young French people in the 21st century; and MCQUEEN by Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui, a documentary about the personal and creative life of iconic and noted designer Alexander McQueen.
