Dangerous Liaisons – Starz
Summary: The story of the Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont, two rivals and ex-lovers who use seduction to manipulate others. The Starz series will serve as a prequel, however, chronicling Merteuil and Valmont’s origins when they meet as passionate young lovers in poor 18th-century Paris.
The series presented from Merteuil’s point of view and described as an “exciting, sexy and provocative” version of the story, adapted “for a 21st century audience”.
