New children’s series, Natives, do you know? and the Théo le loup series, broadcast on TFO from June 20.

TORONTO, June 23, 2022 /CNW/ – From June 20 to 26, TFO highlights the history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Canadathrough its programming, with the broadcast from June 20 at 7 p.m., youth series: Native people, you know?produced by Julie O’Bomsawin and of Theo the wolf.

Native people, you know?, allows young viewers to learn more about Indigenous cultures. The themes covered are: music, arts, indigenous diversity, traditional knowledge, food, spirituality, clothing and attire and finally living together. With such diverse subjects Native people, you know? offers new perspectives and avenues for reflection to fuel discussions ensuring a better understanding of Aboriginal peoples.

Theo the wolf is an animated series featuring three indigenous children, using their totem powers to help the people of Turtle Bay in various unforeseen situations. Throughout the series, we discover the Seven Precepts that all natives try to follow as a way of life: truth, respect, honesty, humility, wisdom, courage and love. Rich and varied themes such as human sciences, customs and traditions of indigenous peoples make these episodes invaluable.

From Monday June 20 to Thursday June 23: 1 episode at 7 p.m.
Saturday 25 and Sunday 26: 2 episodes at 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Theo the wolf
The week of June 20: mornings at 6:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Daytime at 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
For National Aboriginal Day on June 21: Episodes of Théo Leloup will air at 6 a.m. and 1 p.m.
In addition to the new series, TFO offers a special program every evening from 9 p.m. of Aboriginal films and documentaries the same week.
