The story of Live is Life is it based on real facts?

Live is Life is an adaptation of a novel by the Spanish author Albert Espinosa, to whom we owe the very beautiful series Red Wristbands. The screenwriter drew inspiration from his own life for the film’s script, with many of the experiences of Rodri’s character mirroring his own.
