I go for a walk
by the cosmic waist of the south,
floor in the region,
more vegetal of time and light;
I feel when walking
all America skin on my skin
and a river runs in my blood
that releases its flow in my voice.

Sun of high Peru,
face, Bolivia, tin and solitude,
a green Brazil, kisses my copper and mineral Chile; come up from the south
towards the entrails of America and total,
pure root of a scream
destined to grow and explode.

// All voices, all,
all hands, all,
all the blood can
to be a song in the wind; She sings with me, sings,
american brother,
release your hope
with a shout in the voice! //

girds the equator

from light Colombia to the coffee valley.

Cuba high son

names ancestral Mexico in the wind.

blue continent

that in Nicaragua seeks its root

for the man to fight

from country to country

for the peace.

In this week of family reunion Cesar Paradas Montesinosjournalist, layman, shared his work in the Alba Association in favor of migrants.

The film “Alou’s letters”, by the Navarran filmmaker, Montxo Armendarizaddressed the same topic with the idea that this “social film forum” session allows us to reflect the harsh reality of sub-Saharan immigration in Spain, and thus raise awareness among the participants, as part of the host society that they are, in this special process.

Within the framework of the inter-institutional cooperation agreement, signed between the Divine Word Missionaries (SVD) and the Alba NGO Associationwe carried out this summer, activities aimed at raising awareness in the host society from the perspective of migration to Spain, and promoting development cooperation projects, executed by both institutions inside and outside of Spain.

On the other hand, and with the purpose of disseminating the activities carried out in the area of development cooperation, a photographic exhibition has been installed on the CINCA Project, (Comprehensive Center for Boys and Girls, from and on the Street) that both entities, we execute in La Paz – Bolivia, since 1992, and in which 100 children between 3 and 12 years of age currently benefit. This center has been created by brother Andrés Lorenzo Calzón SVD, while the ALBA ONGD Association is part of the missionary work of the Zamorano priest, Macario Villalón SVD for the execution of development cooperation projects and to serve the immigrant population in Spain.

The cry made into a prayer of Psalm 68, 1-4 Keeps hearing Save me oh God, of Psalm 60, 1 prayer of an exile, my God hear my cry. Israel had his exile, his Exodus. Like so many towns. The cry of the prophets of yesterday and today: Jesus of Nazareth, “What they do to the most needy, they do to me.” “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” It is the judgment of the nations of Matthew 25,31.35-46.

ANDhe Pope Francis in 2016 reminded us of the three “Ts”: land, work, roof. They are sacred and salvation for many.

“An economy that is centered on the god of money and not on the person: this is the fundamental terrorism against humanity.”

“The causes of the inequalities and injustices of our time, with the globalization of indifference and the culture of discarding, of exclusion. It is the inequity of hunger and poverty, unemployment and job insecurity (exploitation) with garbage and indecent work.

The inequity of human trafficking and child slaverythe evil and injustice suffered by those poor of the earth who are refugees and migrants, wars and violence such as terrorism, the destruction of human life and ecology, etc.

All of the above is caused mainly by the system and ideology that dominates, economic liberalism with capitalism.

Where money reigns as god, the idol of wealth-being rich and power, the international imperialism of money as the Social Doctrine of the Church shows us. It is the market, profit and competitiveness turned into these false gods. Whose lie leads to the idolatry of the sacrifice of the peoples, the poor and the planet on the altar of economic growth, financial-banking speculation and the good life of consumerism, hedonism and luxury-richness.

Tagle during the celebration of "feel the creu".

Luis Antonio TaglePhilippine cardinal and president of Caritas International commented in 2016: “I would like to see countries with hearts”.

It is admirable that countries like Lebanon with four million inhabitants have received two million refugees. Same Greece. And now the hospitality, the generosity of Poland and neighboring European countries welcoming with open arms and hearts the millions of Ukrainians from the cruel Russian war. It is solidarity, charity, beautiful both, that put humanity and dignity in this failure of humanity called war.

One also wonders, why did Europe close its borders to migrants, political exiles from other non-European nations, from other continents? Have you forgotten your Christian roots, your own history with millions of Europeans welcomed by other countries?

In this globalized world we all depend on and benefit from each other. Your car is Japanese. Your beer is German. Your wine is Spanish. Your democracy is Greek. Your Colombian coffee. Your tea is Chinese. Your watch is Swiss. Your fashion is French. Your shirt is from India. Your shoes are from Thailand. Your vocka is Russian.

And then we complain that the neighbor is an immigrant, migrant, emigrant, exiled, refugee… We do accept things, do we not accept them? Listen to this song:

Lyrics: Do not call me foreingRafael Amor, Argentinian

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb_qyN-zTgc

Don’t call me a foreigner because I was born far away

or because the land where I come from has another name.

Don’t call me a foreigner because the breast was different,

or because it cradled, my childhood, another language of stories.

Don’t call me a foreigner, if in the love of a mother

we had the same light, in the song and in the kiss

with which we dream the same, mothers against their chest.

Do not call me a foreigner, nor think where I come from

better to know where we are going, where time takes us.

Don’t call me a foreigner, because your bread and your fire

they calm my hunger and my cold, and your roof shelters me.
