Long weekend of Epiphany 2023 in Naples: many events for young and old

A White Night of music and entertainment in the Rione Sanità, Enzo Avitabile in a free concert to close the event Sacred Souththe Befana Village – Stocking and Toy Fair in Piazza Mercato, free admission and shows at Edenlandia, the great Befana festival with workshops and science show in Città della Scienza, the Ferraiolo family puppets arrive at the Trianon Viviani and in the seventeenth-century Church of San Potito the exhibition is open to the public Van Gogh: the Immersive Experience.

White Night at Healthcare

Thirty singers, from Rosario Miraggio to Foja, and over 10 speakers from Gianni Simioli to Fabio Brescia with the artistic direction of Massimo Jovine: it is “Sanità-Tà-Tà – The Night of Music at the Rione Sanità”, the great closing event of the Christmas program “See Naples and then Come Back”. It starts at 18 on January 5 to go on with the show all night of the Epiphany. Click here for all the information

Enzo Avitabile in Sacred South: free concert

Friday 6 January, at 8.30 pm in the Church of Saints Alfonso M. de’ Liguori and Gerardo in Miano, Enzo Avitabile will perform with Gianluigi Di Fenza (classical guitar), Emidio Ausiello (percussions) and Marco Pescosolido (cello) in “Sacro Sud” . The concert – which gives the title and closes this edition of the music festival directed by Avitabile himself – is an inner journey in search of the roots of spirituality. In Piazza Mercato the Village of the Befana

The more traditional Epiphany of Naples is back with an institutional event full of moments of entertainment dedicated not only to the little ones. The Befana Village will welcome citizens and tourists until January 5th. Also scheduled is the Notte Bianca, which will illuminate the night of shopping between 5 and 6 January. From Purgatory to Paradisiello: suggestive itinerary for the Festival delle Scale in Naples

At the end of the festival dedicated to the discovery of the stairs of Naples, one of the most loved and evocative itineraries returns: From Purgatory going up towards the Paradisiello. LThe guided tour is conducted by Marinella Di Martino and will be held on the dates of 7 and 8 January. Even the Befana is a science enthusiast, in fact on Friday 6 January Città della Scienza will welcome young and old from 9.00 to 17.00 for a fun day full of imagination and creativity. The Epiphany is coming to Edenland: admission and free shows

A very tall witch arrives at Edenlandia with a group of nice colleagues to entertain and distribute sweets and candies for all the children. The weekend program that officially closes the Christmas holidays will see various appointments, all free, acting as a relay for the entire day of January 6: the colorful and large Epiphany Parade, the Giacomago Show and lots of music. Waiting for the Befana… In 5a

January 6 closes with the original musical format, with bands, gospel choirs and children’s entertainers, who enlivened the streets and squares of Vomero in view of the Epiphany. It begins in the late morning with the gospel choir of Angeli Metropolitani feat. Giada Caliendo who will again be the protagonist in the evening on the stairs of Piazza Fuga. In the afternoon, Via Scarlatti will be animated by Pega Onda, a Neapolitan percussive project inspired by the Samba culture and rhythms of northeastern Brazil. While in the early evening on Via Luca Giordano the festive rhythms of the Galera de Rua, also pro-Brazilian inspired by the tradition of urban carioca Samba. Click here for all the information

Lapis – Tales from the womb of Naples: theatrical visit in the Neapolitan subsoil

Saturday 7 January from 7.30 pm, first appointment of the year for NarteA, which inaugurates a suggestive underground itinerary in the heart of the ancient center of Naples at the Lapis Museum, with the new theatrical visit Lapis – Tales from the womb of Naples.
