Hello Fabrizia. Tell us a little about yourself. You graduated in law from the University of Bari and you are also a model. Have you ever found it difficult to reconcile these two worlds?
“I state that I live with passions and that I always follow my heart. I loved law as a child, I was fascinated by a sense of justice that led me to choose law school. It was difficult to study and work at the same time, but I was able to give my best because I really liked studying and I did it with passion. Ever since I was in high school I have been used to alternating study and work: I was shooting on sets around Italy, studying and training myself to become a complete person. Fashion came into my life unexpectedly, like a little surprise. As a teenager, I didn’t look pleasant and suffered from physical and verbal bullying. I wanted to do myself justice, I wanted to be a magistrate, I wanted a revenge that life has given me by transforming me into a beautiful woman. One day I was stopped by a talent scout who, right from the start, saw potential in me. I have always suffered from the long skinny legs that are now my strong point. I am grateful for my efforts and, to date, I am happy to have pursued both paths, to have thrown myself into the judiciary and to have discovered that it did not make my heart beat like acting does. I am a colorful soul who needs stimuli and emotions. “
What TV shows did you participate in?
“I participated in Miss Italy as a child: it was my debut. It was a great experience with Fabrizio Frizzi and I reached the final. Then I participated in a program on Rai 2 and, finally, in Avanti another that allowed me to understand how much the show should be part of my journey. I remember with pleasure Paolo Bonolis, De Laurentins, his wife Sonia who conducts the castings, the authors: all united and compact, they taught me a lot in a short time and opened doors for me. I respect them a lot. “
From the Island of the famous to the red carpet. Can you tell us about your experience?
“Two opposite experiences. – laughs – The adventure on the Island was very strong and very reflective because I related for the first time with an unimaginable reality: what you see on television is only a tiny part of everything behind it. I had to deal with my shadows, confront myself with the wildest part of me thanks to which I have not suffered the various shortcomings, from make-up to food, to which such an introspective adventure leads.
The red carpet, on the other hand, is my dream come true for the second time and when I cast it I am the happiest person in the world. I wish I could someday do that for a film I work on.
I am grateful for the possibility that I had thanks also to my willpower: I think that everything depends on our energies, I am energetically positive. In my opinion, our reality depends on what we think. The more we think positively, the more we give beautiful things the chance to become part of our life. I try to be strong and see the light in everything I do. “
What do you like doing in your free time?
“I love reading and writing so much that I dream of writing a book. I prefer spiritual and esoteric readings, since I have a great connection with the spiritual world and with the energy of the universe. I like quantum physics, I love meditating and going to Claudio Baglioni’s concerts. I support the uniqueness of every human being: the more unique we are, the more I am convinced that we will all shine like stars. “
Who would you like to become in the future?
“A mother and a wife with a fantastic family like mine. In my house we are very close, I love infinitely my parents who have been married since they were kids, my brother of forty-one, my sister who has just had a baby. I would also like to be a professional because I am studying and working hard. I dream of working on television and becoming an established actress and writer. “
If you could go back, would you change anything?
“No, I wouldn’t change anything because I did everything with my heart and even one wrong step contributed to something constructive. Nothing happens by chance, those difficult moments have served as a teaching and led me on a better path. I see with joy everything that surrounds me and I look forward to what the future has in store for me. “
