The Best Italian Feature Film Visions from the World Award 2022, who also takes a prize worth 5,000 euros, goes to “Il tipografo” by Stefano Pasetto. The jury, made up of authorities such as director Luca Lucini, actress Amanda Sandrelli and film critic Giancarlo Zappoli, appreciated: “reflection on a complex period of our recent history also because what happened is presented with a multiplicity of testimonies that are not necessarily univocal “.
The New Talent Award for First Work BNL BNP Paribas Visions from the World 2022 (value 2,500 euros), instead sees a jury composed of students of the faculties composed of students of the faculties and schools of cinema in Milan Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti, IED – European Institute of Design and Experimental Center of Cinematography. The prize goes to “Once again” by Giulia Di Maggio. The student jury also mentioned “Rent strike bolognina” by Michael Petrolini, which addresses the issue of the universal right to housing. And “One more time” by Tommaso Montaldoin the category New Talent Opera Prima Italian Competition.
