As announced and as widely expected, Il Volo – Christmas in Jerusalem is proving to be a concert-event centered primarily on the greatest Christmas hits. Among the songs performed stand out “The Christmas Song”, “O Tannenbaum”, “I’ll be home for Christmas”, “Feliz Navidad”, “E lucevan le stelle”, “Hallelujah”, “Silent Night” and “Tu scendi from the stars”. On stage, to the applause of those present, Baron, Boschetto and Ginoble they also gave life to some comic interludes, exchanging Christmas gifts that also revealed their greatest passions, including running.

This evening, Saturday 24 December, the unmissable appointment with “Il Volo – Christmas in Jerusalem”. A unique evening that combines the unmistakable voice of the trio formed by Piero Barone, Gianluca Ginoble and Ignazio Boschetto and the evocative atmosphere of the Holy City in Israel. “It is a place where different religions, cultures and languages meet, you realize how different people are in dedicating their lives to spirituality”, Gianluca Ginoble told Tv Sorrisi e Canzoni. Today, despite more than 50 years having passed, the madness of war continues to be part of our world. As Christmas approaches, we feel even more the desire to sing and continue to give life and strength to this song, an eternal hymn to peace”, said the three boys to Tv Smiles and Songs.
And they added, commenting on the concert in the Holy Land: “We have chosen to face such an important experience in a moment of greater awareness of what we do and of our strongest maturity and we hope to transfer the emotions we felt during the journey we made some time ago in preparation for this concert”.
