Sunday 16 October, at 16:30, on the Lungomare Pertini, the performance of the Frecce Tricolori for “Pozzuoli Air Show”
The administration of Pozzuoli through a press release communicates all the measures to allow the exhibition of the Frecce Tricolori in the Pozzuoli air Show.
To allow the event to be carried out safely (and the relative general rehearsals, scheduled for Friday 14 October from 8 to 18), the Municipal Administration has prepared a temporary device for circulation and parking in the Lungomare Pertini area and in the areas neighboring.
The measures were adopted with two executive orders (number 316 of September 26 and number 339 of October 10), which we invite you to view in their entirety by consulting the Praetorian Register of the Municipality of Pozzuoli.
Below is a summary of the main provisions contained in the two ordinances.
Prohibition of Transit and Circulation
On Sunday 16 October, from 3 to 6 pm, a ban on the transit and circulation of vehicles will be instituted on Lungomare Pertini, Corso Umberto I, Via Tranvai (between the intersection with via Baglivo and the intersection with viale Compagnone), Largo Tranvai (up to the confluence with Corso Umberto I), Via Napoli (from the intersection with the access road to the multi-storey car park to the confluence on Corso Umberto I / Lungomare Pertini), Via Matteotti.
All driveways, simple or level entrances that open onto these streets will be suspended.
You will not be able to enter these roads even from the crossbeams, alleys and neighboring areas that flow into them.
Only vehicles registered to the authorities, organizers and guests of the event will be able to reach the public car parks in front of the former “Vicienzo a Mare” from Via Matteotti and from Via Napoli the public car parks in Largo Gerolomini.
Traffic changes
Sunday 16 October from 3 to 6 pm the one-way traffic will be reversed on Via Tranvai (in the section from Via Baglivo to Corso Umberto I) and on Corso Umberto I (in the section from Largo Tranvai / Via Compagnone up to the roundabout of Viale Cappuccini).
Vehicles coming from Via Baglivo must compulsorily continue on 1st Traversa Tranvai or turn left towards the Tranvai Tunnel.
Vehicles coming from Viale Compagnone must necessarily turn right and continue towards the Tranvai Tunnel.
No stopping and stopping
Sunday 16 October from 9 to 18 will be forbidden to stop and stop on the entire Lungomare Pertini, in the public parking in front of the former “Vicienzo a Mare” and in the public parking of Largo Gerolomini.
The ban will not be valid for vehicles registered to the authorities, organizers and guests invited to the event.
No parking
On Friday 14 October from 8 to 18, to allow the rehearsals of the event, a parking ban will be established, also valid for the stalls reserved for the disabled (with forced removal by tow truck) in the public parking in front of the former “Vicienzo love”.
The ban will not be valid for vehicles registered to the authorities and organizers of the event.
On Friday 14 October from 9 to 18 and Sunday 16 October from 9 to 18 there will be a ban on parking (with forced removal by tow truck) in the public car park with entrance from Via Baglivo / Via Tranvai.
Only vehicles registered in the name of residents bearing the ZTL2 Brown Sector badge and disabled will be authorized to park in this car park.
All owners of personalized H stalls reserved for the disabled and residents with parking permits or parking permits on stalls in the Brown and Orange sectors of the ZTL2 will be able to park in the sectors adjacent to those affected by parking restrictions.
Alternative parking
From 2 pm to 11 pm free parking for cars and motorcycles will be allowed in the parking lot inside the Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable Market in Viale Europa Unita, with the obligation to collect cars and motorcycles by 11 pm in order to avoid forced removal with a tow truck. During the opening hours the obligation of the parking disc will be suspended. A free shuttle service will be available from 2.30 pm to 8.30 pm every 30 minutes with a terminus near Villa Avellino.
Free parking for cars and motorcycles at Molo Caligoliano will be allowed from 2 pm to 11 pm, with the obligation to collect cars and motorcycles by 11 pm in order to avoid forced removal with a tow truck. During the opening hours the obligation of the parking disc will be suspended.
From 9 am to 11 pm Parking C9 inside the Equipped Park of Via Vecchia delle Vigne, with the obligation to collect cars and motorcycles by 11 pm in order to avoid forced removal with a tow truck. A free shuttle service will be available from 2.30 pm to 8.30 pm every 30 minutes with a terminus near Villa Avellino.
From 2 pm to 11 pm Olivetti car park in Viale Campi Flegrei with the obligation to collect cars and motorcycles by 11 pm in order to avoid forced removal with a tow truck. A free shuttle service will be available from 2.30 pm to 8.30 pm every 30 minutes with a terminus near Villa Avellino.
The IC4 Pergolesi school car park will be open regularly from 9:30 am to 2 am the following day. A free shuttle service will be available from 2.30 pm to 8.30 pm every 30 minutes. The shuttle will stop at the SOFER car park with terminus in Piazza a Mare.
Suspension of all itinerant trade activities on the seafront
On Sunday 16 October from 00.00 to 24.00, all forms of itinerant trade, even authorized ones, will be suspended throughout the pedestrian promenade of the Lungomare Pertini.
