This new look also marks a new phase in the artist’s life, who after facing the mourning for the death of her parent, said how much this has marked her:

“I’m too angry at life right now. When these huge and tragic things happen, it’s like it resets everything you’ve been and everything you’ve done. I know who I was when he was around and all sorts of things, now it’s like I’m starting over. Now that he’s gone I’m a different person and I’m seeing him every day. Life changes everything suddenly and I’m getting it. I was just born. (…) I called him Peter Pan because he never wanted to grow up. I have always appreciated his generosity. He was a nurse and when someone couldn’t get to the hospital he would go home himself to do the dressings.”
