Because when men are silent, when men become indifferent, insensitive, when men do not tell the stories of their soul, the deserts advance and if the deserts do not advance, the woods and barbarism advance, therefore, this reward is an action. of struggle against the advance of the deserts “. The ceremony was enriched with the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the launch of the Neapolitan song” Silenzio Cantatore “of which Marina di Camerota boasts the belonging, and saw the extraordinary participation of the master Bruno Venturini. The maestro received a commemorative plaque from the mayor of Camerota, Mario Salvatore Scarpitta for being one of the main disseminators of the Neapolitan musical heritage in the world and with it of Silenzio Cantatore.
