Carlos Alberto Cremata Malberti, the Tin of the Children’s Theater Company “The Beehive”, came to the northeastern province of Holguín motivated by the educational movement “Martí keeps coming to my house”, to share knowledge and experiences of his masterful way of approaching the work of the Apostle of Cuba, a way of multiplying the greatness of the one who expressed the “gustico that feels when doing something useful”.

And that was precisely what the oldest beekeeper felt on Tuesday, when he brought home the Martí that we all need. With that peculiar way, typical of the Cuban Creole, and deep passion, in a kind of workshop he explained his methodology, which has the flavor of a lot of reading and the desire to search, investigate, “dive” as he said, in everything that contribution to the knowledge and understanding of Marti’s work to later reflect it in the ways of doing and acting.

On how he manages to bring to the stage through the interpretation of the children and to the life of each one of them that spirituality that is gained with that “diving” he spoke for a whole morning at the Celia Sánchez Manduley theater at the headquarters of the Provincial Committee of the Party, in the presence of partisan and governmental authorities of the territory, activists from Martí chairs, members of the José Martí Brigade of Art Instructors, of the Cultural Society of the same name, directors of Education and Culture, among other participants.

The deep admirer of the “sincere man” commented how the idea of the Movement arose, generated in the heat of the moving presentation of “La Colmenita” at the inauguration of the Fidel Castro Center, in honor of the Commander in Chief.

The way in which he approached the figure of Fidel from his Martian essence aroused the interest of multiplying that method with which he manages not only to represent on stage the immensity of a leader, but also the spiritual transformation of those who do and perceive it, as recognized by the Cuban President Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, promoter of the Movement.

“What you see in the staging is just the tip of the iceberg, said Cremata, all the work behind it is what really has that impact.”

Between fragments of poems, simple verses, which he considers a beautiful biographical poetic work, and anecdotes of Martí’s life, not encapsulated, but of the human being who suffered prison and saw the horrors that were committed there when he was very young, he recounted how he manages to extract his essence and show his inordinate appreciation for the beauty of the soul to the children of the Company, who then transform that into beautiful performances and actions.

All this knowledge acquired in an exploratory process in which the beekeepers actively participate, in which they search for the meaning of words that they do not understand because they are very archaic, and learn by apprehending, along with discipline and doing good every day, that then they are told as a gang secret, they are the key points of the immense work that Cremata maintains with the Company, which more than causing applause touches hearts and cultivates spirituality.

That is what this educational Movement is about, multiplying those experiences that promote values and trace the path to follow in spiritual transformation to achieve a better society.

According to Tin Cremata, the Movement is structured in four stages, one of diagnosis, to find out who can replicate it among all the actors in society; the second is pedagogical, which includes games and several search and reading sessions; the third has to do with the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade and is called artistic practice, how to take that apprehending of Martí to some artistic expression and committed practice are the ways of being and acting, from the classroom, the institution or any other scenario.

“These are the small actions that we can begin to do that speak of a fraternal, loving and dignified society. This is how the children of La Colmenita do it”, she pointed out.

Before concluding the workshop, Cremata handed over a backpack containing the methodological explanation, games and texts that support this work, including The Golden Age and “Between Thorns, Flowers”, by Carlos Manuel Marchante Castellanos.

As a courtesy, Bárbara Díaz Ramírez, member of the Provincial Bureau of the Party and Julio César Estupiñán Rodríguez, Governor, on behalf of Holguin residents, presented him with a reproduction of the Quixotic painting made by the distinguished Holguin painter Cosme Proenza, on the figure of Fidel.

Together with his colleagues Guillermo López Cardona and Cleibis Caraballo Pupo, Carlos Alberto Cremata enjoyed the performance of the Colmenita de Moa, the Brigade of Art Instructors and the “Words to the Wind” Company.
