In the middle something gross happens that we all remain silent and that generates an awkwardness in each scene that is very tense. That is the main conflict in the story,” Luciano told Soon.
The miniseries has eight chapters and the actor finished shooting them in March, just after he finished the novel by Telefe The first of us, where Luciano had the character of Nicolás Torres. “Luckily, I had a little break between one job and another because we finished The First of Us in October of last year and We did The Good Retirement in March,” he commented.
“The first one of us was very strong and the project gained more and more strength because a lot of things began to happen that I did not know and everything made double sense. It was a very strong experience and when we started recording, they told us how It was going to be the story and they asked us to act it out conscientiously. It seemed strange to us that they tell us that being all professionals, but later I understood why, “he revealed in the interview with Pronto.
-What did you understand?
-While we were shooting the novel, we were not aware that it was actually the story of Gerardo Rozín. I found out late in the project and what happened to me was very strong: Gerardo himself told me. I went to see Camilo at Luna Park with my daughter and Rozín was there with his daughter. He asked me how was The First of Us and I replied: “Oh, you don’t know Gerardo, the project is very good”. I saw little of him on the channel because I always found him in a bar across the street, where we went to eat. We talked about work but we weren’t friends. “The novel is going very well, it was acted at a very high level from the artistic point of view, very demanding”, I told him and I noticed that he laughed under his breath. “Did you see something?” I asked him because I knew that Gerardo was very bocho and weighed heavily on Telefe. “No, but I know everything”, he told me. And there I found out that it was his own story.
-How did you react to?
-I did not know what to do. Because besides, I knew that he already had his disease diagnosed, his time had been told about him and he was telling me something with a calmness and a spirituality that moved me everything. Short and basic as I am, I told him: “Come on, really?”. He answered yes and could not say anything else. That’s how I found out, he told me himself.
