Ángel Pichardo Almonte will put into circulation work “The paths of Being and other quantum tales”

SANTO DOMINGO.- The revolutionary writer and militant Ángel Pichardo Almonte will put into circulation next Wednesday, August 31, his new work “The paths of Being and other quantum tales”, in whose content he makes an invitation to retrace old paths, marked by a linear time; and that he has denied the infinity of paths that the author now invites to travel.

For the first edition of the new book, a special hard-cover version was printed, which will be on sale at the launch event, which promises to be an artistic event of great importance. In its pages the reader will not be able to avoid being captivated as soon as he looks at the dedication, and continue with prologues 1 and 3, as well as with the introduction of Pichardo Almonte and his seven stories.

The circulation of “The paths of Being and other quantum tales” will take place in an atmosphere of joy and wonder, on Wednesday, August 31, at 6:00 in the afternoon, in the UASD Teachers’ Club, in the surroundings of Güibia beach.

“The Paths of Being and other quantum stories are projected images, of the mirror that questions who is looked at by it,” writes Ángel Pichardo Almonte, in the introduction to the work.

“With this work I try to share the incomprehensible dynamics of a literary experiment, in which quantum time is conceived as a superposition of states, where the future, present and past are diluted; and it is required to assume the challenge of inventing the god hidden in our being, that allows us to create new universes in new times. And that in this challenge of the gods, they want to resemble the feat of Prometheus and the light he shares”, continues the author, who in addition to being a poet is a militant of the revolutionary left.

In prologue 1, engineer Luis Bencosme points out that El Profe, as Pichardo Almonte is also known; “He goes around attracting countless tiny particles, building a magical and different universe, limitlessly humanizing his characters, abandoning the narrative sequence, caressing poetry, in a subtle attempt to break down the barriers between matter and spirit.”

Félix Cid, professor of physics at the UASD, is also an accomplice of Pichardo Almonte, highlighting in prologue 3, that the author “strongly draws attention to physics and philosophy. Maintaining its status as a literature book, it addresses substantial aspects of the areas of knowledge indicated above”.
