Now in its fourth edition, the Civitanova Bike Festival, a three-day event focused on the themes of cycle tourism and cycling. A real party that involves the city and is open to everyone: agonists, amateurs, newbies and enthusiasts of the world that revolves around two wheels.
Friday 30 September, Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 October in the evocative setting of the historic center of Civitanova Marche, a sustainable festival will be staged that tells the story of the territory.

The Civitanova Bike Festival was born four years ago with the intention of combining the promotion of the territory with a tourism of a naturalistic, educational type and obviously linked to the culture of cycling. An event made up of conferences, meetings, debates, workshops, excursions and rides around the city, which aim to collect in one place all the experiences related to the world of biking, and to bring them into a narrative path on cycle tourism that can offer insights of reflection and solutions able to combat climate change and create awareness in people.

A festival that, with the coordination of institutions and trade associations, has the aim of enhancing the territorial contexts, creating debate and comparison between the leading exponents of the sector and improving the entire micro and macro economy that revolves around tourism on two wheels. All without forgetting the conviviality, the fun and the shows: in fact, in these three days of the festival there will be events, gymnastics and activities for children, play areas for everyone, aperibike, freestyle shows and the magical Gipsy photo point by photographer Monica Balls.

And finally, a collaboration with ITS Turismo Marche – post-graduate high school which will see students from all over the region involved in the organization and media coverage of the event – and a twinning with the Napoli Bike Festival. Because the involvement of several actors fully represents the spirit of a choral initiative that wants to speak to everyone.

How was the Civitanova Bike Festival born? It all started with Marche Bike Life, a company from Civitanova Marche that offers tours, tourist packages and services for two-wheel enthusiasts looking for a unique experience to live in the Marche region and in Central Italy.

A company born on a model of sustainability and green mobility, which develops cycle tourism projects on different territorial areas and leads tourists to discover the hidden beauties and the most uncontaminated nature, combining bicycle tours with the gastronomic and cultural characteristics of the places and enriching each trip with art, culture, nature and spirituality. To promote and make known its work, the company started with the first events and with the first traveling fairs, also organizing an ambitious path that from the Marche has reached London, with several cycle ambassadors to guide the groups of passionate tourists.

But the desire to remain in the area and to bring the culture of the bicycle to its own places, contaminating inhabitants, shopkeepers and social fabric, was too strong to be ignored, as well as the desire and the need to interact with the structured world of mountain biking. .
And so, Mauro Fumagalli, founding partner of Marche Bike Life, with the collaboration of dear friend Stefano Marchegiani – one of the greatest exponents of the world of mountain biking and owner of the Frontignano Bike Park – he created this festival which today attracts thousands of people linked to the world of mobility on two wheels to Civitanova Marche.
