Appointment at Porta Grande
Saturday 12 November 2022 from 9.00 to 11.00
The ornithologist Rosario Balestrieri of the Ardea association will lead the group of visitors to discover and listen to the avifauna present in the Real Bosco di Capodimonte in this autumn period. Walking through the avenues, in a palette of colors that this warm autumn offers, you will be able to admire the migratory birds just arrived in Capodimonte from territories further north, including robins, flounder, he babies, song thrushes, the yellow dancers near the fountains. Furthermore, it will also be possible to know the sedentary avifauna that is present in Capodimonte all year round: the great spotted woodpecker, the blue tit, the great tit, the treecreeper, and with a little luck, perhaps even some diurnal birds of prey such as kestrel, buzzard and mortarboard.

OPENING OF THE CHURCH OF SAN GENNARO REDECORED BY SANTIAGO CALATRAVA
Friday, Saturday and Sunday opening from 10.00 to 16.00 with last admission at 15.30
Reopened in July 2021, after 50 years, thanks to theartistic intervention by Calatravathe Church of San Gennaro nel Real Bosco shows all the versatility and genius of the artist who, for the first time, is measured with porcelain, a different and much more sophisticated technique than ceramics, learned in the Spanish town of Manises, where the artist creates his great ceramic works.
In the Church of San Gennaro Calatrava, using the excellent local artistic workers (the Real Fabbrica di Capodimonte for porcelain, which is located right in front of the Church, the silks of San Leucio and the stained glass windows of Vietri sul Mare) gives the chapel a new spirituality linked to the elements of nature: the flowers and leaves of the Real Bosco di Capodimonte.
The Church will be open except for adverse weather conditions.
