Theater for children and not only at the archaeological park until mid

OSTUNI – The fourth week of live performances of Teatro Madre Festival closes with a tout public show not to be missed: Saturday 6 August (h. 21), at the Archaeological Park of Santa Maria di Agnano, BU! (from 4 years), which tells, in a light and fun way, the typical fears of children.

The protagonist of the show is Claudio Milani, a very delicate actor and director, winner of prestigious awards, an example of a great theater for children who, to the sound of nursery rhymes, will tell a “funny story of fear”.

Because there are scary scary stories in the world. And other fun ones. Bù! is a funny scary story, told by an actor … and a door. The door is a border: on one side there is the Green Wood, on the other the Black Wood. In the Black Wood live the Thief, the Wolf, the Witch and the master of all: the terrible Black Man. ‘is a round mother like cakes, a strong father, seven brothers as big as wardrobes … and also a child, little Bartolomeo. It will be him, accompanied by the inseparable cover, who will have to face the creatures of the Black Wood …

Up to defeat them one at a time. With a narrative flow of back and forth, as fun and reassuring as a nursery rhyme, the typical fears of children are staged. They are named, to make the little spectators understand that they are everyone’s heritage and that, with a little courage, they can be defeated and forgotten. Bù! teaches that fears are overcome and that laughing, at times, is the best weapon.
