The rebirth of Adrian Aviles

self love routine Adrian Aviles It starts as soon as you get out of bed. She practices meditations, does programming tapping and manifestations to bolster her self-esteem.

Thus, he shields himself, takes care of himself and pampers himself, after several years in which he felt that he was left aside by the hustle and bustle with which one lives in the world of acting, theater and television.

“I am hyperactive, extroverted, I waste energy. But sometimes he gave too much and there are people who are like energy vampires. That is the explanation given by the actor, who had to rediscover his essence after feeling that one of his famous characters left him aside.

“I had to kill Kuki Entreríos. He was a drag character, who broke taboos, who was part of soap operas, reality juries and was in morning shows like En contacto. But her personality became so popular that even my friends wanted her to be the one to go to parties. I started to lose myself and I couldn’t allow it,” she explains with her usual sparkle.

“Once I went on a trip and brought so many clothes for her, that when I opened the suitcases I only realized that I didn’t buy anything. She was leaving me out.” It was so for a couple of years she moved away from acting a bit and decided to study her spirituality.

“I started reading Deepak Chopra, who is like the Paulo Coelho of spirituality (laughs). But you learn from everything. He had to heal and that’s why he also practiced yoga and reiky. Now I live in the present and it doesn’t matter more than this conversation, for example”, he mentions.

Adrián always seeks to show himself as he is, without poses. And these are some of the things that he criticizes with his characters. “I grew up in the midst of conservative people, on the one hand; and on the other, all the freedom of the theater. So I can just be who I am.”

This personal exploration is also taking him down other paths in acting. He is an old soul within the world of social networks. He is, socially speaking, five years younger than what his identity card says. “He’s just a number,” he says, as he recalls that his workgroup is now full of younger talent with a lot of social media connection. “I am part of the Buen Trip agency. This one manages talents that have a great presence on the networks, and I’m like the guy. I’m just getting started on TikTok. Although I dance, I don’t consider myself a network dancer, and my bases are the tables. I am an actor learning to be an influencer”.

His plan now is to start comedy shorts on his profiles, which are linked to astrology and everyday issues. “It’s to laugh, but also to get to know each other.”

The stand-up is another of his firm projects. This year he has more than three premieres planned and he would like to be the first Ecuadorian with a program of these on Netflix. “We have the talent to do it like in Mexico.” To achieve this he continues to write and manifest his destiny every morning.

Fully in the Stand-up

The actor has turned his work to the creation of scripts and stand up works. The most recent one was presented in Pop-up theater and is called Inventada. In his words, it is a genre that allows him to “be vulnerable” and “show off, mock and learn” from his life experiences.

In this one-hour piece, he talks about labels, self-love and attitude towards life. “Perreo is up to the ground and self-esteem up to heaven”he maintains.

He is also preparing two more works: one to be released in July, Guayami, which will talk about the reality of this city; and another in English that she will present at CEN. Both created by him.
