The Department of Humanities of the UPRH celebrates the congress Art, Spirituality and Revolution in the Caribbean

The Department of Humanities of the University of Puerto Rico in Humacao will celebrate the Art, Spirituality and Revolution in the Caribbean congress from Monday, April 25 to Thursday, April 28, 2022.

The congress brings together experts on Afro-Caribbean religions, Afro-descendants, digital gaps in the context of racism, gender and colonialism, art manifestations, community struggles in defense of the environment and urban displacement, clandestine struggle, neuro-aesthetics , the protest song, maximum exponents of plastic art, documentary, music and theater, among others.

The activities presented seek to generate a dialogue among the participants about the various strategies that have enabled alternative voices and actions in our towns.
