We learn a little more about the horror game The Chant, developed by Brass Token and published by Prime Matter (the new label of Koch Media), which is released this year on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X/S and PC. A new trailer introduces us to the actors who have used the “Motion Capture” technique. This “only next-gen” production intends to scare us by impressing us and it must be said that the first images abound in this direction.

Tyler Anton (Adam Millard) owns an island named Glory Island which he would have received as an inheritance. He is an enigmatic character who created his “thought movement” and invited several people to accompany him on a spiritual retreat. We already know things are going to go wrong.

Since becoming his student, Kim Mallari (Kira Clavell) only has eyes for Tyler and feels better than ever. She therefore insists with her friend Jessica Briar (siobhan williams) so that this one, a city dweller with a stressful life in great need of rest, accompanies him on the island. The two women, joyful and full of spirit, go off to encounter horrors they do not suspect.

Hannah Wilson (Emily Tennant) is Tyler’s “assistant” and is looking forward to this retirement with other people. She finally has the feeling of belonging to a group and of participating in something that is beyond her. What role will she play in the events to come? We’ll have to pluck up our courage and play The Chant to find out.

Yet being a woman of character, Maya Kalani (Nicole Anthony) wants to believe in the benefits of this spiritual retreat. Tyler is the only one who could see the pain buried deep inside her. So she trusts him. Is she wrong?

Scion of a wealthy family, Sonny Sonti (Praneet Akilla) had nothing to do to acquire his fortune. He plans to leave his life of broken promises and self-destruction behind by helping Tyler financially and following him to Glory Island. His existence will indeed take a turn. But is it what he was hoping for? Nothing is less sure…

Here’s to the psychology of the various characters in the horror title The Song. The new trailer is interesting, the actors telling us about their work and their vision of the game. This one is planned for the current of the year on playstation5, XBOX Series X/S and computer via Steam. Will he be the pioneer who will open the way to next-gen horror?
