Born in 1966, poet, writer, multi-instrumentalist, Gianfranco Rossodivita he is definitely a “Grand Master of Modern Art”, as the motivation of one of the numerous investments received states.

Born in Molise, lived between Sicily, Tuscany and Abruzzo, the artist moves his poetic sphere precisely in the places where he spent his youth, nourishing it with imagination and the warmth of the soul that, later, they will find in his poetry scanning and arrangement in poetic segments proposed with linearity, in harmony with his character and temperament. From a very young age, he showed a marked artistic talent that “knows how to give a complete voice to Beauty, as the result of his own thought and passion, amidst ecstasy and torment. Gianfranco is a man who believes in love as a saving force and sometimes external vibrations of the heart, finding in it the essential nourishment to face existence in a less anguished way, overcoming, in his name, the many and profound spiritual and existential lacerations that they overwhelm us “. He has collaborated with pop and folk-popular music groups and has taken part in a long series of prestigious events, including the Memorial Domenico Modugno, with Albano Carrisi artistic director. During his stay in the Valdarno, in Tuscany, he meets the Anglo-Saxon poet Peter Russel who consecrates him as a Poet.

He currently has several publications to his credit including collections of poems from which the author has drawn two very successful recitals such as “Something Personal” in which “he manages to make the stones speak, capturing in nature, in everyday life , in the human being, what is beyond the ‘panta rei’, the whole that flows to the end of a self, an interpersonal relationship, a memory or a feeling “(Daniela Bianconi Manucci, teacher and poet) and “RossOPaco” in which Gianfranco’s poetry “consumes itself because it lives and pulsates, enters the experiences of life and the complex inner world, leads to the condition of limiting finitude of Man, noting that there is his precariousness in it. It is poetry that reconciles with the Word and, in its becoming, becomes blood, scream, fury, bitter observation, lost love, lived joy, taste for life ”(Massimo Barile, critic of modern art). His works appear in numerous anthological publications and literary agendas, and are also cataloged at the National Central Library in Rome. Some have been translated into English, Greek, Croatian, Dutch and French. During his artistic career he was awarded countless literary awards including the “Victor Hugo International Literary Prize”, the “Giuseppe Altobello National Poetry Prize”, the “San Marco International Literary Prize” in Venice “, the” Island of Malta European Literary Award “, the” New York City Award 2009 “, the” Anne Frank Award 2010 “in Amsterdam, the” International Literary Award City of Paris 2012 “, the” Palme d’Or Award for Art “In Montecarlo; the “Gran Prix des Arts Visuels” in Cannes, the “City of Dubrovnik Grand Prix 2016”, the “Leonardo da Vinci Award”, the “Ithaca International Award 2017” in Greece, to name a few. Paraphrasing the anthropologist Alberto Mario Cirese, Rossodivita is “a balanced poet, far from earthly passions and far from the false myths of today’s society, who feels the amazement of the human condition and the fullness of life: the inner harmony of his spirit is the peace of the soul ”, capable even of unhinging the temporal plans of the philosophical currents of the past. With the recital “Il passo dell’angelo”, Gianfranco will be staged at the Talia Theater in Tagliacozzo (AQ), on 17 June 2022 at 9.00 pm.

Strength, joy, sadness, voluptuousness, life, these are the key feelings of the play, whose words will be interpreted and recited by the actor, screenwriter and director from Campania Enzo De Caro, one of the most loved Italian faces in our country. Two projects in one, that of Rossodivita and De Caro, which merge to underline the power of words, poetry and music. There will be references to Argentine poets such as Borges and, of course, an exceptional soundtrack with the music of Piazzolla, Filiberto, La Pera, Gardel and the contemporary Abruzzese Simone Marini, entrusted to the masterful execution of professionals of great value such as the maestro Paola Crisigiovanni, one of the most respected pianist, composer, arranger, musician who for years has shared national and international stages with world-famous artists. Alongside her, Maestro Massimiliano Pitocco, bandoneonist, accordionist, organist and composer known all over the world and recently awarded the “100 Italian Excellence Award”.
