“Participating in this training camp is a form of spiritual retreat, an opportunity for fathers, mothers and children to enjoy and learn every second of what the daily life of a practicing Muslim should be. You will agree with me, the disappearance of values such as integrity, transparency, honesty, love of a job well done, mutual respect and sense of responsibility are likely to compromise any socio-economic, cultural and spiritual development. . At the end of this 13th national Islamic training camp, we expect an environment conducive to the implementation of the values of Islam, actors of Islamic work involved in the fight against the evils that plague our society, a community, at all times , any place and any circumstances, having a behavior entirely and solely based on ethics, to a Muslim youth committed to cultural and spiritual values to better serve the nation”, he hinted.

This seminar, like those that preceded it, is organized on its own funds by the Association of Muslim Students and Students of Guinea (AEEMG) and the support of former members. An initiative is warmly welcomed by the religious and administrative authorities. This is the case of Imam Moussa Keita, coordinator of the Union of Imams of the forest region, who thanks the organizers.

“We salute this organization which aims to equip young people with Islamic knowledge. You have contributed to the development of Islam and Muslims in Guinea. We are happy to have heirs who can continue to convey the message of Islam after us. We pray to Allah to grow you and your association wherever you are. On behalf of the Regional Inspector of Religious Affairs of Nzérékoré, we welcome you and may Allah reward you”, said the imam.

For his part, Dr. Oumar Keita, rector of the University of Nzérékoré, said he was very honored by the AEEMG for the choice of his institution. “We were honored to have hosted this Islamic seminar within our institution, because we believe that these are opportunities that must be seized, opportunities for open-mindedness, exchanges on Islamic values. We always organize religious debates between our students here. We warmly thank these young Muslim pupils and students who are investing in moralizing our society, because an educated youth is a saved nation. When it’s the opposite, it’s a nation doomed. We tell them to perpetuate these activities and especially to expand them throughout the country,” said Dr. Oumar Keita.

Mr. Governor asks me to tell you the support of the regional authority to this seminar for the promotion of Islam which is the guarantee of a good education of the children of Guinea in general, and in particular of the children of N’zérékoré to ensure the hard-won peace and tranquility in our country.
