“ANIMA MUNDI”: IN MILAN LEOPARDI TALK ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MAN AND NATURE

From Tuesday 13 to Friday 16 December, the Oscar Theater, the little pearl managed by Giacomo Poretti, will host Anima Mundi, an intense, lyrical and powerful show, by and with Lucilla Giagnoni, already known to the general public for Reading the 100 cantos of the Comedy of Dante. An innovative, intense, lively and vibrant show in which the protagonist, with the help of Leopardi, accompanies the audience on a long introspective journey through the future, the latest scientific discoveries, man’s relationship with Nature, touching current themes and as intricate as climate change and viruses. “We will not get out of the labyrinth with our now highly developed sectoral knowledge – themes I have already talked about in my shows Magnificat and Furiosa-Mente – but with the daily ability to broaden our gaze, consciously participating in making a soul in the world.” comments the author. The show opens the Generativity Trilogy. After the Trilogy of Spirituality and the one dedicated to Humanity, the author and performer – one of the greatest in storytelling theater – is back on stage with a show entirely dedicated to Giacomo Leopardi, continuing her now twenty-year journey of discovery and reflection on major issues of the present.

OEDIPUS RETURNS ON THE STAGE IN THE CAPITAL

A visionary and musical journey in the company of Oedipus, “he who dreams deep dreams”. It will be staged at the Parioli Theater from 14 to 18 December 2022, “Oedipus Re. A black fairy tale” a show by Ferdinando Bruni and Francesco Frongia, with Edoardo Barbone, Ferdinando Bruni, Mauro Lamantia, Valentino Mannias; costumes by Antonio Marras. Teatro dell’Elfo production, with the contribution of Next. Ferdinando Bruni and Francesco Frongia, authors and directors of this project, reinvent the ritual of tragedy with a contemporary look: the use of masks, the material costumes of Antonio Marras, which become scenographic presences, as well as the all-male cast “distance the story from all realism to bring it closer to a dreamlike dimension, capable of moving and speaking to the unconscious”. “LA LADY PAPILLON” BY STEFANO BENNI DEBUT IN ROME

“La Signorina Papillon”, one of the funniest comedies by the brilliant and prolific Stefano Benni, will make its world premiere at the Teatro Lo Spazio in Rome from 15 to 18 December, directed by Piero Di Blasio. An irreverent and ironic critique of contemporary society told through 4 very different characters. The pure and naive Rose, butterfly collector and admirer of roses of every shape and color lives in her house in the countryside, far from the noise and corruption of the city, a world that does not belong to her. “SETTIMO SENSO” BRINGS AN IMAGINARY MOANA POZZI TO THE STAGE

Euridice Axen plays Moana Pozzi in “Settimo Senso – Moana Pozzi”, by Ruggero Cappuccio, directed by Nadia Baldi. The show, after making its debut at the Napoli Teatro Festival in 2020, will be staged in Milan at the Franco Parenti Theater from 13 to 18 December and in Rome at the Parioli Theater from 18 to 22 January 2023. An imaginary dialogue between a woman and a man. Amazement erupts when the man realizes that the female presence is in all respects the same as Moana Pozzi. She catches his surprise and talks to him. She ensnares him in a mysterious dialogue and enunciates her idea of ​​pornography, launching provocative statements against power, politics, careerism. The dialogue becomes tight and seductive. The woman displaces the writer by telling him that he is definitely planning to write an article-revelation on the false death of Moana Pozzi. She offers him a glamorous night game and she explains that he will have one night to decide whether to woo her or betray her with a journalistic scoop.

THE LIFE AND THE MASTERPIECE OF FS FITZGERALD GO ON STAGE
