Mawloud 2022: When the clamor of the night of the prophet takes the rhythm of a “Fatwa” to leaders and youth.

The celebration of this birth is part of the love that every believer has for the Prophet Mohammad (Psl). This love also attests to our faith according to the Koran and the Sunnah.

This celebration in Senegal coincides with the difficulties that the world is experiencing due to a deleterious economic and security situation.

Among religious families, it is always a discourse of truth that is held towards political actors and young people who face the effects of globalization and technological evolution.

As the saying goes: “If you don’t know where you are going, go back to where you came from”! This is actually the discourse that often came up with the spiritual guides of the different religious families. This influx of young people in general to social networks is something that can be useful, provided that its use is rational and responsible. The Caliph General of the Tidiane, Serigne Babacar Sy Mansour, delivered a message in this direction, but broader by inviting political leaders to get more involved.

Faced with a world plunged into waves and dangerous turns, critical and chaotic situations in which the level of intellectual, cultural and democratic debate is in the dock, Serigne Babacar Sy Mansour recalls that more sacrifice is needed, out of responsibility , to stop these flows of terrible phenomena and practices that have become common in all circles of our personal and community life. These moments of prayers and invocations of the name of Allah and his prophet, were an opportunity for the family of Tivaouane, to recall some habits to keep between the religious guide and his faithful. A relationship that must be supported by sincerity, reciprocal love and truth.

These words, which Serigne Cheikh Mouhamadou Mansour Sy Dabakh, who represented the Caliph General at the official ceremony, launched for an awareness in the relations between guide and faithful, have their meaning in this period when some invade social networks and define themselves for the purpose of deceiving Senegalese by defining themselves as religious guides. “We need a revision of our vision in relation to religion,” he stressed, inviting more humility for a good relationship between the talibé and his guide.

The celebration of the prophet is a good forum for people to get acquainted with the behaviors of Mouhamed As.

Serigne Cheikh Mahi Niass, on this night of commemoration of the birth of the Prophet Mouhamed (Psl), the different political sensitivities must be more aware of their responsibilities towards the people they are called upon to lead.
Apart from religious centers such as Tivaouane, Medina Baye, Touba, Thiénaba, Louga, Dakar, Yoff Diamalaye, the great Massalikul Jinaan mosque, Mermoz with the Thiantacone, all vibrated to the rhythm of this night while conveying this contextual message intended for leaders and to young people especially to remind them of the values and teachings that the Prophet Muhammad (Psl) left us.

“She is the best of creatures. Our ancestors knew the prophet and knew the importance of his presence in the world and for the peoples. We need a real return to the values he embodied. This idea put forward by the Caliph of Medina Baye, crosses the thought of the spiritual guide of Moustarchidine, Serigne Moustapha Sy who opened his Gamou with verses singing and magnifying the qualities of the prophet Mouhamed (Psl). All these guides, using the pretext of Gamou, invite us to preserve this precious legacy and safeguard it jealously with ingenuity to be part of the countries that are developing while keeping its values.
