The comedian Chadwick Boseman, notably famous for having been the face of Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), died in 2020. This Tuesday, November 29, the actor would have celebrated his 45th birthday. Actor Sebastian Stan, who plays Bucky in the Marvel universe, has just shared a tribute to his late friend.

Chadwick Boseman: died in the prime of life

He died on August 28, 2020 only 43 years consequences of colon cancer. Chadwick Boseman still had his whole life ahead of him. In 17 years of career, the actor had established himself as an important figure in the Hollywood community. He began his career in the early 2000s via small appearances in series like Experts: Manhattan, New York District, Emergencies or Cold Case. It was in the early 2010s that he began to have roles on the big screen. You can see it in feature films like 42, Get on up or Draft Day.

His participation in films Message from the King and Gods of Egypt are the first turning point of his career. Solid interpretations that give it a little more light. Marvel Studios spots him and then offers him the role of T’Challa, aka Black Panther. A role he will play four times before his death, in Captain America: Civil War (2016), in Black Panther (2018), in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and in Avengers: Endgame (2019). His fans also found him in Manhattan Lockdown, in Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods and in the excellent The Blues by Ma Rainey, his last film appearance.

Sebastian Stan, known for being the face of Bucky in the MCU, supports Chadwick Boseman’s foundation. This foundation, called The Chadwick Boseman Foundation for the Arts (CBFA) aims to carry on the legacy of Chadwick Boseman and to support the intellectual, spiritual and artistic growth of people in the African Diaspora.

He recalls his sincerity, his kindness, his talent as an artist and what an inspiring person he was, always ready to help others.
