Desecrating photograph of what has been, In the bubble it is a kaleidoscope of sensations taken to excess, not only to tell pandemic stress, but also the absurdities of showbiz.
There’s the alcoholic actor, the drug addict, self-centered and narcissistic; the actress looking for a new chance; the one unglued from reality and the social star focused only on the number of followers. In between, a handful of experts between the comic and the surreal, in charge of stemming the follies of the stars.
This dystopian scenario brings the viewer back to when the world has stopped, the airports have emptied and everyone is locked up “in the – infamous – bubble”but it is a tale in an ironic key from the beginning to the end credits.

Judd Apatow’s film has a very respectable cast. Karen Gillan is Carol Cobb, a star seeking media rehabilitation after the flop of the latest film.
