The International Vitae Foundation announced that the first edition of the event will take place in the Vatican on August 31 and September 1: VITAE SUMMIT
Harnessing the arts, media and entertainment to trigger a cultural transformation that promotes the common good, hope and the encounter between people on a global level.
This is the objective of the first edition of the Vitae Summit, event convened by the International Vitae Foundation; which will take place in the Casina Pio IV of the Vatican, as the first venue, from August 31 to September 1.
The event supported by Pope Francis will have the presence of “internationally renowned artists and actors,” the organizers told Aleteia; At the head of the Argentine philanthropist, Luis Quinelli, 48 years old, president of the VITAE international foundation.
Pope Francis trusts artists to bring about a revolution of tenderness and beauty:
«Artists have a very important role in society: to be guardians of beauty in this world, ambassadors of the culture of encounter and witnesses of hope for all humanity’».
For his part, Luis Quinelli confirms that the objective of the demonstration is opposed “to a society loaded with negative messages, polarizations and conflicts on the international public agenda.”
In this sense, the Vitae International Foundation also has the support of Queen Emeritus Sofía of Spain and 25 Hollywood artists, actors and singers. The program of the demonstration will be published in the coming days.

According to the organizers, this cultural and artistic manifestation stems from a series of private meetings held in recent years between Quinelli and the global management team of Vitae with Pope Francis in Santa Marta.
“There we present the work of the Foundation”; and “together they agreed that the Vatican would host the FIRST VITAE SUMMIT in 2022.”
«This will be an event in which the guests, with the presence and inspiration of the Pope, will be able to share experiences and in a collaborative scheme, will co-create messages and projects of high massive impact that will inspire us towards a better world, based on those universal values that foster encounter, unity and hope”, stated the also founder of the Vitae Foundation.
It should be remembered that in December 2020 under the slogan “Play hope”, Quinelli and his team released the song “‘La Bendición Unidos”; Performed by twenty renowned Ibero-American artists, it reached tens of millions of people around the world.
The future impact
As confirmed by the organizers of the VITAE SUMMIT, this is the first step of several actions that will soon be launched. London, CDMX and Los Angeles are even mentioned as the next cities that will receive the VITAE SUMMIT, among other initiatives, to continue the work started in the Vatican.
