FANO – The green gold of the Marche guides the dinner tour in the towns of the dop Cartoceto to discover food and wine, history, art, nature, spirituality and science. IS “Conterranea”. The format, recently presented in Fano, was wanted by the municipalities of the dop area, Cartoceto, Mombaroccio, Colli al Metauro and Fanofrom the Pro Loco Cartoceto, Pro Loco Mombaroccio, Pro Loco Serrungarina, Pro Loco Montemaggiore al Metauro And Pro Loco Saltara. The initiative has the sponsored by the regional council – legislative assembly of the Marche and with the support of main sponsor Osteria del Cardinale.
The dinner tour brings together gourmet catering, places of historical and landscape interest such as the museum of the Balì of Colli al Metaurothe Guidobaldo del Monte palace in Mombaroccio and the belvedere of Marconi square in Cartocetothe stories told by the actor Filippo Paolasini who built the artistic project as the story of a journey to discover these lands and the quality music that will return in concerts studied ad hoc the atmospheres suggested by the places and events evoked. “All with the aim of narrating and promoting a unique territory but full of possibilities, characterized by a strong sense of identity and belonging (hence Conterranea, ed.) In which the dop Cartoceto oil is the fil rouge”, they explain the organizers.
The stages of Conterranea
The trip opens the11 June from 7 pm in the garden of the Balì museum in Colli al Metauro with a musical show which will then be followed, inside the splendid historic villa, by the dinner prepared by the chef and foodblogger Giuseppe Di Pasquale with the organizational support of Pro Loco Serrungarina, Pro Loco Montemaggiore al Metauro And Pro Loco Saltara and with the collaboration of gastronome and sommelier Giuseppe Cristini. A historic location houses a science museum and therefore places the past and the future in dialogue. This will be the focal point of the story woven by the actor Filippo Paolasini and the jazz quintet of Marco Postacchini which will develop in music a path between tradition and innovation.
The 2nd of Julystarting from 20.30Conterranea will stop in Mombaroccio in the suggestive garden of Palazzo Guidobaldo del Monte thus opening the second itinerary, the one that gives science leads to the themes of spirituality. To accompany the dinner prepared by the chef Gabriella Uguccioni of “La Coppa”, wisely assisted in the story of the wines by sommelier Mauro Mancini of the wine shop Le Vin Sauvage, a story that connects two characters who lived in Mombaroccio: Guidobaldo del Monte, a mathematician friend of Galileo Galileo, and the Blessed Sante. Scientific evidence and certainties of the heart will be crossed by the word in the scenic art and by the music of a string quintet and the saxophonist Daniele Mancini with the arrangements written by four hands with Maestro Michele Mangani.
The journey into the land of the Cartoceto DOP ends then on 9 July from 8.30 pm in Cartocetocommon leader of the area, in the splendid belvedere of Marconi square where, with the Teatro del Trionfo behind you, your gaze rests on the silver hills of olive trees, a dense expanse up to the sea. The last stage of the itinerary is the one that in the wake of spirituality crosses nature and leads back to the art and green gold of these places. The menu will be curated by the chef Eva-Maria Walch of the restaurant and main sponsor “Osteria del Cardinale” flanked in the story of wines and oils from sommelier Otello Renzi.
The spiritual path that moves from the Sanctuary of the Blessed Sante leads to another place of faith, the Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Soccorso in Cartoceto. From here you can enjoy the view of an expanse of olive trees that the actor-traveler will travel through in stories steeped in anecdotes and peasant traditions, until reaching the Teatro del Trionfo, a place where the magic of uniting the two meanings of the common root takes place “Colere”, culture and cultivation precisely because it stands on an ancient oil mill. To accompany this story, the music of the Musicamdo Jazz Orchestra with to the voice Alessandra Doriaa big band that will return with the richness of sound the set of characters, stories, paths, roads, foods of a land that is plural and unique at the same time.
