Closing ceremony of the 210th anniversary of the Chamber of Commerce of Cosenza

COSENZA – The director Lia Calabriain collaboration with the art expert and tour guide Paola Moranowith the support of the “Sviluppo Consentia” Association of the president Angelo Perrongelli and with the patronage of the Municipality of Cosenza, presents, from now until December 22nd, the artistic – social event “The magic of Christmas and the sacredness of the family”.

Among the various initiatives that make up the substantial program of the exhibition, it begins today at 15:00, with a guided tour by Paola Morano, at works of a sacred nature from the National Gallery of Cosenza. The tour wants to contribute to invite the people of Cosenza to be the first users of the historical and artistic beauties of the city and of the important museum institution with a modern layout. Also in Palazzo Arnone, the majestic sixteenth-century building in the historic center of the city, today the prestigious seat of the National Gallery, the Conference on the “Sacredness of the family, food for thought and links between art and spirituality”. After the greetings of Angelo Perrongelli, and Sandro Frattalemi, president of the military union “Italian Army”reflections on art will follow, as a privileged language to express faith, by Luigi Bilotto, art historian and historiographer, Massimiliano Battaglia, president of the Italian association “Amici del presepio”, Sergio Caruso, psychologist and criminologist, don Salvatore Fuscaldo, director of the “Diocesan Museum of Cosenza” and Francesco De Marco, writer, who will focus on the Church, family of families, works of art of a religious nature on the Holy Family, the nativity scene to experience all the magic and spirituality of Christmas. Wednesday December 21, in the traditional “San Nicola” cinema-theater, at 7.30 pm, the “I Lunari” theater company will present the amusing philosophical comedy “God wants it this way, that is, everything on the contrary”, written by Francesco De Marco and directed by Lia Calabria. The actors Anna Angellina, Luca Aiello, Francesca Gaudio, Rosanna Giordano, Patrizia Grosso, Elena Massaro, Rodolfo Perri, Cesarina Petramale. Assistant director Francesca Gaudio, costumes by the fashion designer Vincenza Salvino, installation of “cultural clothes” by the identity designer Luigia Granata At the end of the comedy, finally, the poems by Cesare Castiglione and Mariagrazia Marrone, recited by Lia Capalbo, Francesca De Luca, Piera De Marco, Katia Diesse, Miriam Pugliese, William Pugliese, with the participation of Antonio Buffone. In the end, Thursday 22 Decemberat 16:00, at the end of the Christmas event program, the third and last guided tour of the National Gallery of Cosenza and the churches of Colle Triglio will be held.
