“Caduto da semper”, in Assisi on stage a large and multifaceted tribute to Pasolini signed by the Piccolo Teatro degli Instabili

On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the great Italian writer, poet and director Pier Paolo Pasolini, the cycle of shows “Fallen forever” will start in Assisi between Thursday 2 and Friday 3 June. The performances, organized by the Piccolo Teatro degli Instabili in Assisi, will see the participation of the Umbrian pianist and composer Ramberto Ciammarughi and the extraordinary interpreters Maria Paiato, Lino Musella and Francesco Bolo Rossini.

“Fallen forever”, takes its cue from the title from the most suggestive passage of the letter sent by Pasolini himself to Don Giovanni Rossi, founder of Pro Civitate Christiana. One condition was that of Pasolini, who frequented Assisi from 1962 to 1965, of the poet who fell from a horse and was unable to go up there. A conflict between inspiration and drive, between spirituality and politics that will lead to the realization of “The Gospel according to Matthew”. So Assisi, which inspired the writer his first film, will host among its most beautiful palaces, Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, Palazzo Vallemani and Palazzo Monte Frumentario, two days of shows that have the hope of not betraying the poetics of Pier Paolo Pasolini. On the other hand, the city is not new in paying homage to the poet who, already in 2019, and again on behalf of the Piccolo Teatro degli stable, proposed PPP / Vita to his public through.

Under the banner of artistic experimentation already experienced, with a collective work imbued with passion there will also be the display of some banners on the buildings where the performances will be held on Thursday and Friday.
