Assisi for Pasolini: “Fallen forever” by the Piccolo Teatro degli Instabili for the centenary of the writer

ASSISI – On the occasion of the centenary the birth of the never forgotten Italian writer, poet and director Pier Paolo Pasolini will be held between Thursday 2 and Friday 3 June the cycle of shows “Always fallen”. The representations, by Small Theater of the Unstable of Assisiinclude the participation of the famous Umbrian pianist and composer Ramberto Ciammarughi and interpreters Maria Paiato, Lino Musella and Francesco Bolo Rossini.

“Fallen since forever” takes its title from the most intense passage of the letter written by Pasolini himself to Don Giovanni Rossi, founder of the Pro Civitate Christiana. A dualism between inspiration and drive, between spirituality and politics that will germinate in the realization of “The Gospel according to Matthew”.

Therefore Assisi, which inspired the writer his first film, will host among its most fascinating palaces, Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, Palazzo Vallemani and Palazzo Monte Frumentario, two days of shows that have the hope of not betraying Pasolini’s poetics. In fact, the city is not new in paying homage to the writer who, already in 2019, and again on behalf of the Piccolo Teatro degli Instabili, proposed to his audience PPP / Life through. The artistic experimentation that took place in the past will continue to live, changing shape, even on Thursday and Friday.

So the dances will open on Thursday 2 June at 18.00 with “Nothing natural” by the Company of the Small Theater of the Unstable, who will repeat the show the following day at the same time. Thursday 2 June at 9.00 pm, Palazzo Vallemaniwill host “Fallen forever – Act I – A nightingale” leading actors of the Italian theater and cinema scene: Maria Paiato, Lino Musella and Francesco Bolo Rossini.

In the evening of Friday 3 Junethe audience will have the pleasure of listening Ramberto Ciammarughi, active musician since the 80s who has performed all over the world, including Germany, Spain, France, Japan, Switzerland, Turkey, Luxembourg and Singapore. Accustomed for a long time to working as a composer and arranger of soundtracks, for theatrical performances and installations of figurative art, for this occasion we will see him grappling with original music, piano and live electronics for “Fallen forever – Act II – In the form of singing” at 9.00 pm at Palazzo Monte Frumentario – Vicolo degli Esposti floor. Regarding his performance Ciammarughi states: “The representation is based on three levels: theatrical, musical and linguistic. There is me at the piano, the video editing made by Giacomo della Rocca and the audio track coordinated by me and Nicola Fumo Frattegiani. It is a team effort that relies on my creativity, but largely relies on the imagination of the public. The hope is to honor Pasolini’s cultural and poetic framework with all our strength ”.
